At Bloom we specialize in providing mental health healing to individuals struggling with anxiety, body image concerns, eating disorders, depression, self-harming, stressors, and trauma.

In order to provide individualized and impactful care we utilize a variety of evidence-based, trauma-informed, experiential, and mindfulness-based treatment approaches.

In addition, we offer comprehensive assessments for eating disorders, self-harming behaviors, and suicidality. We often collaborate and work with a team of providers including therapists, dietitians, coaches, treatment centers, and medical providers to strengthen the therapeutic work.

Bloom was originally founded by Karen Moore, LCSW, CEDS-S as an individual private practice. In recognizing the increased need for qualified and specialized eating disorder and mental health treatment on the Treasure Coast, Bloom expanded to include additional like-minded, compassionate, and skilled clinicians: Melissa Lichtenberger, LMHC, Sydney Reese, LMHC, Alyssa Hickey, LCSW, Lara Lough, RMHCI, and Elizabeth Rubin, RCSWI. Bloom is also hosting two masters level interns, Raquel Rojas, MFTI, and Aubrey Oughterson, CMHI.

All clinicians at Bloom have a passion for learning, growing, and providing exceptional client care. As a result, each therapist is actively involved in their ongoing professional development, including participating in continuing education courses exceeding the licensure requirements, regularly engaging in clinical consultation groups, and either maintaining or pursuing the credential of Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through iaedp™; the most widely respected certification process for specializing in eating disorder treatment.
